Things to carry to Cherry farm

It is not easy to spot cherries in a cherry tree. Generally cherries hid themselves between leaves. Carry a step stool/ladder along with you to pick cherries which are on the top of the tree. Some cherry farms accept only cash so have some cash in hand. Most of them do accept cards these days but it is better to carry cash. Also carry water to not only keep yourself hydrated but also to wash cherries before tasting them.

How to pick best Cherries and Recipes

There are two main kinds of cherries: Bing Cherries and Rainer Cherries. Bing Cherries are the sweetest kind and are red inside. Rainer cherries are yellow on inside and mixture of light red and yellow outside.  Key to a good cherry is its color. Darker Red the cherry, Sweeter it is. Bright red cherry is sour in taste. If you cant decide based on the color then make sure to taste all kinds of cherries and based on your taste, pick them. Make sure to leave the stem on the cherry as having them on makes cherry last long.
